What We Collect

  • Quiz answers: Your selections and written responses are sent to our AI to generate your results. They are stored server-side so your results page can be shared via its unique URL.
  • Email (optional): Only if you choose to receive your results by email or subscribe to updates.
  • Name (if purchasing): Used to personalise your premium Ikigai Compass report and certificate.
  • Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How We Use Your Data

  • Generate results: Your quiz answers are processed by AI to produce your personalised archetype and report.
  • Send emails: If you opt in, we send your results and occasional updates via Resend.
  • Process payments: Payment information is handled by Stripe for premium report purchases.

AI Processing & Disclosure

Your quiz answers are processed by AI models via OpenRouter (using providers such as Google Gemini for the free quiz and Anthropic Claude for premium reports). Your answers are used solely to generate your personalised results and are not used to train AI models. All quiz results and reports are AI-generated content.

Third Parties

We never sell your data. We share data only with the following service providers, each used for a specific purpose:

  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Supabase — Database and data storage
  • Resend — Email delivery
  • OpenRouter / Google / Anthropic — AI quiz and report generation
  • Vercel — Website hosting and anonymous analytics
  • Google Search Console — Search performance monitoring (no personal data shared)

Cookies

Vercel Analytics collects anonymous, privacy-respecting usage data — no personal information is tracked. We use localStorage to save quiz progress so you can continue where you left off. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

  • Quiz results: Stored for 90 days to keep your shareable link active.
  • Premium reports: Stored for 30 days after generation.
  • Subscriber data: Retained until you unsubscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email ikigaireport@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Ikigai Report is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it.
